Narrative Therapy has a long association with letter writing and creating alternative documents as a therapeutic tool.
It is a cherished part of my practice that fixes meaning and preserves intention in a way that conversation doesn't always achieve.
Letters are an intimate form of communication that allows you to collect, organise and express your thoughts in your own way at your own pace. Each reply contains questions for your further consideration and stimulation.
Can be implemented independently or in conjunction with therapeutic conversations.
